Dr. Jerod Posey believes that building overall health and wellness in his patients, rather than treating conditions symptomatically with medications and surgeries, leads to fuller, happier lives. Dr. Posey, the owner and clinic director of 212 Degrees of Wellness in Wildwood, Missouri, since 2009, is a Maximized Living Chiropractor who provides patients with a health care delivery system based on the foundational components of proper healing, called The 5 Essentials. The 5 Essentials include: A healthy mind A healthy nerve supply Healthy nutrition Healthy oxygen and lean muscle Minimized toxins Dr. Posey identifies and treats the stressors that inhibit the body's ability to function properly, which not only leads to solving the initial problem, it leads to improved health on all fronts. Dr. Posey is also passionate about educating his clients in taking charge of their health and wellness and, to that end, he hosts regular events and workshops on nutrition, exercise, supplements, and preventive care. Dr. Posey was the previous team chiropractor for the St. Louis Ambush professional indoor soccer team, as well as the St. Louis Attack professional arena football team. Although he loves working with athletes, his true passion lies in family wellness. Dr. Posey has completed post graduate certifications in spinal correction, nutrition, and pediatrics. Dr. Posey is a father of three and loves spending time with his family, his church, and in the outdoors.
